Bernadette Badalamenti

Bernadette Badalamenti, age 57, lifetime resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly at her home.

Bernadette was born in Geneva on April 10, 1968, a twin daughter to Dominick “Danny” and Mary (nee Carroll) Badalamenti. She was a 1987 graduate of South Seneca High School, and had worked at Willard Psychiatric Center until it’s closure in 1995. She then took on the role of home health aide, a job that suited her sweet nature, and a job she truly loved. Bernadette was very close to her family and friends and loved being a grandmother.

She is survived by her children, James Beers of Ovid, Kristia Badalamenti of Waterloo; her sister, Victoria (Anthony Cantania) Badalamenti of Ovid, her twin sister, Antionette (Mike) Gable of Ovid, her adored granddaughter, Skailynn; her nieces and nephews, Mary-Kate (Dylan DeLuca) Badalamenti of Syracuse, Kailyn (Howie) Gable-Frisco of Trumansburg and their children, Kamryn, Kaidyn and Khloe, and Dominick Gable of Port Orange, FL and a very large extended family. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents, Danny in 2019 and by her mother, Mary in 1986.

The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home from 10:00am to 10:50am on Friday, November 7, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated at Holy Cross Church at 11:00am.
