Our sincere condolences for the family. I have fond memories of Anita and family trying to teach me how to play bridge, our wonderful get togethers, picnics. My stepdad Jimmy Lema and my mother Julia enjoyed time spent with her parents. Our prayers are with Anita and family. Paz, Lorraine Gonsalves Morris & family, So. California.

It was my pleasure, privilege, and honor to be a classmate of Anita at Bay View Academy -- our class (1949) had (and has) the distinction of being the first class to graduate from the present building, the former structure having been destroyed by fire when we were juniors. Anita was our Class President during that junior year -- we all respected and loved her.

I was so happy to see Anita at our 50th Class Reunion in 1999. As always, she radiated pure joy.

Sincere condolences to her family.
