My condolences to everyone upon the death of my very special cousin Patsy Woltz. Knowing her and her family growing up in Waynesville made a deep and lasting impression. I will miss her.

I had the privilege of meeting Pat and her beautiful family when they visited Gwynn's Island, Va. and the Gwynn's Island Museum to celebrate her 80th birthday. She was proud of her Gwyn heritage and shared her genealogy and lovely pictures of her family for our research library.
I was deeply saddened to read of her death. I was in the process of writing her a note to wish her a belated Happy Birthday and to send museum news when I saw the obituary. Pat and her family made a lasting impression on me in that short when they were here Sept. 17,2005. Deepest condolences to her family. Jean Tanner, Museum Director

Such a fitting, moving memorial service! I was blessed to know the benevolent matriarch of Mt. Airy for 34 years. She was a cultivator in every sense. At once formidable and kind, without a hint of duplicity.
I would like to add one more civic duty to the list provided above. In my opinion, she was the very conscience of the community.
"Well done, good and faithful servant."

What a wonderful lady. She and John were a part of my early life at Central Methodist Church -- John was my fourth grade Sunday School teacher. Pat was a friend of my mom, and exemplified in her life the love of Christ toward her fellow man. She will be missed, but what a legacy.
