PRENTISS WRIGHT Obituary

Prentiss Dean Wright, Sr. Prentiss Dean "Skeet" Wright, Sr., 89, of Dothan, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, after a short illness, at his daughters home surrounded by family. Memorial services will be held at 10 A. M. Friday, July 6, 2012, at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, Dothan. Family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Evergreen Presbyterian Church Food Bank Fund, 1103 N. Pontiac Avenue, Dothan, AL 36301. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Gentiva Hospice for all the loving care, kindness and compassion shown to Prentiss during his illness. Prentiss is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline Elizabeth Honea Wright, his parents William Floyd, Sr. and Francis Elizabeth Smith Wright, Plantersville, MS; brother, William Floyd Wright, Jr., Plantersville, MS; and sister, Colene Wright Westmoreland, of Belden, MS. Prentiss is survived by his children, P. Dianne Haberle (John) of Slocomb; Prentiss Dean Wright, Jr. (Kelly) of Syracuse, NY; Grandchildren, Heather Lee (Haberle) Bailey of NJ, Amanda Prentiss (Haberle) Blankenship of AL, Michele Lee (Wright) Milhiser (Dave) of VA, Stacy Lee (Wright) Barber of NY, Curtis and Lucas Cuilla of NY; Great-grand-children, Addisen Rylee Blankenship; Madison and Michael Milhiser; Kayleigh, Noel, Kenneth (deceased) and Jasmine Barber of NY; Sister-in-law, Evelyn Marguerite Wright of Planters-ville, MS; nieces, Mary Jeffie Webb (Johnny) of MS, Frances Ann (Jerry) Herman of Kenosha, WI; nephew, Windham Floyd Wright, Jr. (Bonita) of Carlsbad, NM; Special friend, Stevie Wright Wise, of NY; and Miltitudes of great-nephews, nieces and cousins.
