What a bright light Greg was in so many lives. The twinkle in his eye was enough to make anyone smile. Sincere and deepest sympathies to Greg's family and those who loved him best. Rest in peace my friend.

November 30, 2012

I wanted to share these quotes and some thoughts for Greg's close family, for all of his work family and for his friends everywhere.
Words of Comfort:
There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. " ~Author Unknown

“Greg” is so Special, to so many, and I know he must have touched so many people's lives in a way they probably never imagined. He was a very special person to so many people he befriended.
Remember the laughter and the big smiles. Remember his everyday approach to life, his generosity, his personality, his ways with people are a real example for me and you. At the end of the day, it is the time with family and friends that meant the most.
This is the blessing that will be cherished in memories. I know he will be dearly missed!
I know his legacy lives on in the hearts he touched!
Please know that all of us will be remembering Greg and honoring his life. May it bring some comfort to you during this difficult time.

For all who are suffering,
Tenderly, may God's love heal your sorrow.
Gently, may the prayers of friends ease your hurting.
Softly, may God's peace replace your heartache with warm and loving memories.

A Poem:
As the coming days go by,
Thoughts of me will make you cry,
Light my candle to draw me near,
I will come to wipe your tear.

As the first year passes by,
Your tears for me will need to dry,
Light my candle as you think of me,
With a smile for me to see.

As the years go flying by,
Please do not keep asking why,
Light my candle with a happy heart,
Knowing we shall never part.

Through the years you will come to know,
You never truly let me go,
Light my candle with your love,
As I keep watch from up above

Please accept my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy.

I worked with Greg early in his career and always believed that he had bright future. His easy way and can-do attitude set him a part and gave him wings to fly. Although his mortal life was cut short, his mission continues and influence will be felt on the other side of the veil.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

The man is a success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.
