To the Children of BC Spell, I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how painful this is for you. It's very difficult to lose a parent no matter their age or how good your relationship was, trust me I know. I had the pleasure of knowing your dad, my Uncle Carroll, a long time ago. He was quite a character, always digging for bottles with Uncle Jerry and Uncle Jimmy and taking the rest of us along when we were visiting, it was loads of fun for us but back breaking hard work for him!! He always tried to please the kids at Grandmama's house, especially at Christmas time, buying a tree to decorate or candy to put in our stockings or giving us a nickel to go to Johns store on the corner behind Grandmama's house, he was always doing something!! But you never touched his belongings or he'd get upset, like his cream pies, and you did not sneeze or cough at the table cause if you did, he was out of there!!! Lol!!! My point behind all of this is that Uncle Carroll was always full of life and fun to be around. Don't be sad that he's moved on in his journey, he's no longer in any pain, he's with Aunt Joan and the rest of the family and I'm sure that he has already found an abandoned building to dig under and around for old bottles and pottery cause that's what he loved doing!! Rejoice in his new life and know that he's kicking up his heels once again and watching over each and everyone of you from above!!! I'll be thinking of and praying for y'all in the coming days as you go through these difficult times. Love y'all very much!!

My sweet daddy, you will be greatly missed. You were the best daddy a girl could ask for. I love you more than you'll ever know. RIP my hero.
