I miss you so much. Dr B was my MD since 1973. I will never forget after the 9-11 attack on America, we had a day of prayer.. I had an appointment to see Dr B that day. As I was in the office, Dr B took the entire staff along with all the patients, outside as we all stood in a circle around the flag outside the office in Dixie Manor. We all held hands as Dr Beanblossom prayed for our country. That's just the kind of man he was. He loved the Lord, his family his patients. I've never felt so cared for by a doctor as I did him, and I never will. He was one of a kind, a gift given to all of us.. If you knew him you truly loved him. Dr B's heart was as big as the moon...I loved to hear his stories and see his smile. His last Christmas in the office, I heard a drug rep, say to him " "Happy Holidays," and Dr's Beanblossom's reply was " How about Merry Christmas." Amen Dr Beanblossom. Sharon Kimbro-Sewell

I am so sorry for the loss of this great man. I just found out and it broke my heart. My family went to him for years and he always told me I was one of the last babies he'd delivered, and as I got older, that I was one of the most accident prone kids he'd ever had. He made the fear of going to the Dr not so bad, and even when I was going for a "sick" visit, I looked forward to seeing him. I hope that the words and memories that the family sees in these condolences will help bring you peace knowing what a gift you all shared with so many.

I did a memory when I first heard, but don't see that it made it to his book. I just wanted to say as all the others have, is that Dr. Beanblossom was truly one of the most wonderful physicians that I had the honor to work with. He never had unkind words for anyone, he came to work at SW with a smile every day. He loved his patients and they truly loved him.
SW Hospital was a very family type atmosphere and we all cared for one another and the work did not seem like "work". It was something we enjoyed doing and we enjoyed being together. Many many friendships still go on because of our life there. Dr. B was part of that family.
Again, such an honor to know Dr. Beanblossom.

We moved to Valley Station in the early 1960's and soon became patients at Valley Medical Clinic on Valley Station Road. Dr. Beanblossom ( along with Dr. King) became our family's doctors for the next several decades. He was always our favorite. We'd almost always have to wait to see him (take a good book!), but knew he would take his time with us when it was our turn. He was a wonderful doctor and a fine man. Our condolences to his family.

Dr B was my doctor for 50 years. In 2008 he told me to go get a colonoscopy, even though I wasn't having any symptoms, or family history just because of my age...turns out I had stage 3 colon cancer...surgery and chemo therapy followed. God used Dr B to save my lifeHe was a wonderful Dr and friend. A true gift from God! Praying for the family of this wonderful man.

I have been trying to find the perfect words to type here, but so many positive thoughts about this fine gentleman pop out all at once, making it really hard to organize, let alone share. Dr. Beanblossom was such a trusted, and well-respected, physician. He combined the practice of medicine with the practice of humanity, and that is rare. I was never hurried through a visit, he listened - really listened, and he had a smile and a joke for everyone. It was a privilege to be his patient, and he made being a volunteer at Southwest a joy all those many years ago. My heart is heavy at his passing, and my prayers and most sincere condolences are extended to his beloved family.

We are so sadden by the news of Dr. B. Passing,
He was a friend first and our Physician for 50 years,
I would take the Tammy & Sean to him, pay my bill, the next time I went I would say every time I pay my bill off, the children are sick again, he would laugh and say yea, I sent the flu bug over your house.
So I can buy milk, such a fun man. An a dear friend.
Don & I miss him as our Doctor,
Thank you Jan for letting us share in Dr. B. Life.
I know we will see him again in Heaven

Dear Beanblossom family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Dr. "B" was a great person. He taught me a lot when I worked for him 30+ years ago. Dr.B was more than a doctor. He was a family friend. He treated me, my husband, my brothers,my parents, and my grandparents. He cared about all of us and our lives--not just our physical health, but he got to know us as people and we did the same. We swapped stories and he even showed me the portrait of him and his wife that was painted in Italy. He stood by me through life changing events like my head-on collision and brain tumor and walked with me through retirement, marriage, adoption and disability. He was a great doctor, friend, and Christian who lived his faith out as a compassionate healer. I am so grateful for all of his help and blessed to have known him. I waited 2 1/2 hours on the day he officially retired to say goodbye to him and there must have been hundreds of patients there. I know that he will be practicing in heaven and I look forward to seeing him there. We will miss him greatly. My heartfelt condolences to all of his family.

Dr. B treated My Great-Grandparents, Grandparents, Parents, Uncles, Aunts, Me, and my Siblings, and my Daughter! 5 generations. He was the best diagnostic Doctor! Even when it was not the good news you'd hope for.
He always had a "spot-on" memory, and never failed to ask about all aspects of our health, and how the other members of the family was doing.
But he was more than just my family Doctor, (and Family's Doctor), he was a friend that loved to talk Baseball, took interest in my career as a Professional Guitarist, and he even filmed a Little League All Star Game that his Son and I played on opposite teams, and it was the only All Star game I ever hit a Home Run in and he was nice enough to make a copy for me and my family, which was not as easy in '82 as it is these days!
I will truly miss Dr. B, as he was my Dr. for nearly 40 years, as well as my friend and confidante.
My condolences and prayers go out to his family.
Go With God Doctor B!

"Dr. B" was truly a gift to us all. My entire family were patients of him and we viewed him as family. He was my doctor for most of my life until he retired (30+) years.
Most people don't enjoy going to the doctor but I always looked forward to seeing him. He had a way of making you feel you were his only patient. Seeing him was like sitting down with an old friend and I always had a sense of peace after.

One of the greatest men I've ever known. He was a true testament to how the Lord commands us to live our lives. He was kind, compassionate, patient, loving and caring. He made every patient feel like they were part of his family, and in turn he felt like a part of ours. He's seen me through my teen years, a marriage, divorce, years of hard times and good.
