Pete just might have been the kindest, gentlest and most patient soul that God has ever created. Sadly, I can never thank him for being such an amazing, giving and caring uncle to my two sons, Austin and Timothy. I doubt he ever missed any of their ballgames and he always made himself available to them for fishing or day trips to Wolf Hollow and other such uncle/nephews activities. He was instrumental in developing their strength and quality of character and helping them to grow into the wonderful young men that they are today. RIP Uncle Pete, we love you.

Pete, what a sweet, kind, loving soul.... with a great sense of humor. You will always be part of our family and we will always love you. Some day the tears will come less often and we will be smiling over all the happy memories... you gave us so many. In fact, you gave us so much we will always be grateful to have had you in our lives. Though you won't like me telling you what to do..... R.I.P. Pete. Love Liz, Ellie, and Charlie

Pete - my best friends younger brother was like a little brother to me as well. I will never forget the great times we all shared growing up whether at the "Y" or selling Xmas trees at Leonhards you were always a blast to hang out with. You were taken from us way too soon and you will be sorely missed. To the Collins family my thoughts and prayers are with you thru this very difficult time. I love you Pete, RIP "Merry Pete"

Oh Pete- You were such a great addition to our UMASS crew. I can remember the first time I met you. Snowy night at UMASS and you and Marshall stomped your names on the roof of the DC. We could all see it from the 15th floor of JQA. We had some really fun, memorable experiences and UMASS adventures. You will be missed.
