Connie Gaye Carmichael, 65, died February 3, 2018 with her family by her side.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 10th at The Orchard Church, 3690 S. Houston Levee Road Collierville TN, 38017. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service starting at 3 p.m.
Connie was born November 8, 1952 in Rogers, AR to Dilbert and Nina Moad, the youngest of four children. Voted "Most Popular" in high school, Connie was known for her ability to make everyone around her feel loved. She had a generous heart and sharp wit, constantly keeping those around her laughing. If asked what her greatest accomplishments were, Connie would quickly say her years as a stay-at-home mom and her two daughters. Connie was also proud of her three grandchildren (Brayden 9, Savannah 6, and Bennett, 1) and was always seen frequenting their various activities. Her interests included family, gardening, watching various TV singing competitions and vacationing at the beach. Connie relished her annual beach vacations, and her ashes will be laid to rest there later this year.
Connie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Buddy Carmichael; their two daughters and spouses and three grandchildren: Manny and Tammy Santibanez, Brayden and Bennett Santibanez; Jeremy and Megan Jackson, Savannah Johnston (6); and her sister, Sheila Moad.
