Daniel Kenney Obituary
Daniel Burke Kenney passed away on July 23, 2021 while on vacation in Florida with his family. This was his happy place. He had planned to move here and retire. He loved walks on the beach, seeing all the dolphins and manatees swim by, salt water fishing & boating, golfing, live music at the tiki bar and beautiful sunsets.
Dan started work at Pico in 1984. He worked for Pico/Comau for 38 years. He met his wife Kristin in 1993 at work, married 26 years, they have two wonderful sons Jacob & Joseph. Dan loved his boys and was very proud of them. He also loved and adored his fur grandbaby Luke (4 year old German Sheppard)
Dan was blessed with a very large wonderful family and great friends.
He was taken too soon and will be forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at: Burton Manor 27777 Schoolcraft Rd, Livonia MI 48150, August 8th 2021, 1-5pm
In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
Hospice, Shelters for women & children & animals, struggling families.
Dan was very caring & giving and would really appreciate this.

Sorry to hear the sad news of Dan's passing - and I apologize for the late remembrance. I worked with Dan on many challenging projects as a Designer and it was always a pleasure. Tough and demanding but reasonable and smart.

I was fortunate to share many years of work with Dan, we had many years of laughs and hard work. I think I'm still numb with I think of Dan's passing, hard to express feeling, when really he past to soon. I'll be honest, hard writing this without crying, I miss you my friend, rest in peace Dan.

My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers to Dan Kenney´s family, co-workers, and friends. May the love of others surround you all during this very difficult time.
I´m grateful I was able to interact with Dan even though it was only on occasions over the years. Yet, with each encounter, Dan was extremely professional, approachable, a class act and a great leader.
Grateful and humbled I got to know Dan. Again, my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Dan could always find humor in any situation. I was lucky to have known him. While working on the road at customer facilities or at the shop he was always fun to be around. He will be missed.

Dan was a wonderful person. I had the opportunity to work with him on some Ford projects. During all day tooling reviews at Pico, he was always making sure my dietary requirements of Halal or vegetarian food are met. God bless his soul.

So saddened at hearing this news last week. I probably met Dan soon I started at Ford in 1993 and had the pleasure of working with him on a few launches and projects over the years. Great man to know and have as the lead when there were difficult issues to resolve. My prayers are with Dan's family.

My deepest condolences to Kristin, Jacob, Joseph and all of Dan´s family. I met Dan at PICO in 95 and for years was a mentor, colleague and great friend. We had some great times and he will be dearly missed.

Truly a nice person through and through. I met Dan at Comau a few years back and I remember his gentle nature fondly. Very sorry for your loss.
