Hurtsboro, Alabama - Tony Grant, 55, of Hurtsboro, AL passed Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Montgomery, AL.
Graveside service will be 1:00 EST (12 noon CST), Saturday, October 29, 2022 at First Missionary Baptist Church, Hurtsboro, AL with Pastor Troy Clark, officiating. Visitation is Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Grant was born on October 23, 1966 to Mattie Thomas and the late Mack Tinsley in Hurtsboro, AL. He was a 1984 graduate of Russell County Training School.
Survivors include one daughter; Santosha Benton; three sons, Cordelra Grant, Tyriq and Terron Grant; two step-sons, Kendarius and Ja'Quandre Bowen; mother, Mattie Thomas; two sisters, Carolyn Grant and Shirl Thomas; four brothers, Travis Turpin, Eddie Upshaw, Morris Upshaw and Raymond Cox; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
