Arnold Allen Klump

BLISSFIELD - Arnold Allen Klump, 83, of Blissfield passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, May 28, 2017, at Blissfield Place.
Born on Jan. 17, 1934, Arnold was the oldest child of Nelson and Mary (Miller) Klump. On Oct. 26, 1957, he married Barbara Bailor, and she preceded him in death in March 2013.
Arnold graduated from Blissfield High School in 1951 and completed the agricultural short courses program at Michigan State College (University) in 1955. He worked at local manufacturers Revco and Tecumseh Products before a long career with the Village of Blissfield Department of Public Works, retiring in 1998.
Arnold is survived by his sons, Bruce Klump of Los Angeles and Bryan (Laura) Klump of Toledo; two granddaughters, Elaina Klump and Alexa Klump of Toledo; brother, Dwight (Carolyn) Klump, and sister, Delight (Tom) Romsek; brother-in-law, Frank Billings, and a sister-in-law, Jackie Klump; cousins, Carol (David) Miller, Doug (Elaine) Schaedler, Phillip Schaedler and Laura Schaedler.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Linda; his sister, Donna Billings; his brother, Wayne Klump; and his Aunt Rhea and Uncle Ken Schaedler with whom he lived with during his high school/college years.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 2, at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home in Blissfield. Visitation will also begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Blissfield Element Church, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Smith officiating.
