MICHAEL GASSER
FORT JENNINGS — Michael J. Gasser, 46, of Fort Jennings, passed away Friday evening, February 10, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center.
His Family…. He was born April 26, 1970 in Lima to James H. and Therese (Hasenkamp) Gasser.
He is survived by his mother, Therese Gasser of Fort Jennings; brothers, Bradley Gasser and Kevin (Lisa Kleman) Gasser, both of Fort Jennings; a niece, Sarah Gasser; and a nephew, Cameron Gasser.
He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Gasser on July 19, 2015.
His Legacy…. Michael was working for Jim's Excavating. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a die hard Cleveland Browns, Indians and Buckeye fan. Michael was a skilled woodworker, making cabinets and furniture. Many people around Fort Jennings have items he made in their homes.
His Farewell Services.… Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Tuesday, February 14, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos and again on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a parish wake service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net

I remember when Mike was a little boy. I babysat him. It is hard to believe that he is gone. I am deeply sorry for your loss and will keep Mike and your family in my prayers.

I am sorry for the loss your family has suffered. Mike helped me many times doing work for me. He was always so cheerful and honest and truly a nice gentle man. I will miss him.
