I was saddened to learn of Linda's passing. Her calendars are the only calendars that have hung in my kitchen for years, and I admired her talent often. Her artwork is so joyful, looking at it filled me with happiness. She left a legacy of art that I'm sure will continue to garner fans.

I am heartbroken to learn of LNS recent death. I had the opportunity to speak to her on the phone about an order from her website. I was captivated by her paintings and we spoke about her background. I told her that whenever I looked at any of her paintings, an automatic calmness and serenidity came over me. My heart would smile because of her. My deepest condolences go out to her family.

I was just browsing on a patent-search Web site and found that Linda won a patent for a particular artist palette. I happened to look up her name and saw this obituary. I'm sorry for the loss of your very talented Linda.

I was so shocked and grieved to read of her passing. Being a painter, I am a devoted admirer of her artistic expression through painting. Her work was wonderfully sophisticated, articulate and tasteful, for a "naive" or "primitive" artist. I hope the writers of art criticism will wake up and take notice. An insightful analysis of her work would be a great contribution to our appreciation and understanding of American art.
Her passing away is a great loss to us all.
