Alvera Allgeyer Obituary

ALLGEYER, ALVERA M., 82, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at Norton Hospital. She was born in Covington, KY, and retired from Jefferson County Public School System. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Allgeyer. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Weyersberg (Ron) of North Carolina and Judy Feldkamp (Keith) of Iowa; sister, Anna Mae Duddey; brother, Edward Foltz; and three grandchildren, Elise, Emily and Eric Feldkamp. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church, 9608 Sue Helen Dr., with burial in St. John's Cemetery in Kenton County, KY. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation.

I worked with Alvera at Bates Elementary in Louisville in the 80's. We enjoyed many good times together and I am sorry to hear that she has passed away.
