Joseph Tilford Obituary
Louisville - Joseph Aaron Tilford, 16, went to be with his Heavenly Father Friday, October 5, 2018.
Joey was born in Louisville to his loving parents Charles Gregory and Kimberly Vincent Tilford. He was a student at Butler Traditional High School. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, loving demeanor, and service to his Butler JROTC.
He will be dearly missed by his parents, Chuck and Kim; paternal grandmother, Jeanette Tilford; brothers, Nicholas and Garrett Tilford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a myriad of friends.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

I had ROTC and Spanish with him last year. We created a bond thru that and also seeing him in the guidance center during summer football practices. We chatted it up and had relaxed convos. I wasn't around him everybay but when I saw him we always caught up with each other and had a good convo. He got me into Raider and made me embrace ROTC more and opened my eyes. Rest up❤Dashawn
