John H. Daley, Jr.
Lived in Nashua, NH and Lowell, MA; 69

MANCHESTER, NH -- John H. Daley, Jr., 69, of Manchester, formerly of Nashua and Lowell, MA, passed away quietly at his home, Tuesday morning, April 3, 2012 with his beloved wife, Debra of 30 years by his side, after a lengthy illness.

A native of Lowell, he was born on July 16, 1942, a son of the late John H. and Florence (Stacy) Daley. John was educated in the Lowell School System.

Prior to his retirement in 1993, John had been employed with Field Machine-N-Tool in Lowell and Wilmington, MA and continued with its successor Cooper Industries for 26 years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Daley worked for Fletcher's Quarry of Westford, MA and at Raytheon in South Lowell during the 1960s.

In his leisure time, John enjoyed fishing and traveling with his wife throughout New England and Canada.

Members of his family include his wife, Debra A. (Knox) Daley of Manchester, NH; a son, John H. "Sean" Daley III of Amesbury, MA; his brother, Richard Daley and his wife, Betty of Florida; a niece, Kathy Paquette and her husband, Norman of Franklin, NH; four nephews, Rick Daley Jr. of Kansas, Michael and Joshua Roberson of Manchester, NH, and Jacob Cook of Merrimack, NH; his sister-in-law, Diane Roberson of Manchester; three brothers-in-law, James Knox, Ed Knox, and Brian Cook; many aunts, uncles, and cousins including Lorraine Leva of Milford, NH; and many special friends.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Kathrine Daley.

DALEY -- In honoring Mr. Daley's wishes, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Private interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA. Donations may be made in his memory to the VNA Home Health & Hospice Services, Inc., 33 South Commercial Street, Manchester, NH 03101. Uncle Johnny, I know it has been years since I had seen you but I know you are not hurting any longer.
