Robert "Paul" McConaughy

Lansing - Born September 29, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died February 20, 2018 in Lansing. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and is survived by his two sisters and his wife Marje of 50 years.

After serving in the Navy from 1966 to 1971, Paul's career included St. Francis Medical Center as an audio visual specialist in Wichita, Kansas; regional program manager at Continental Cablevision; senior vice president at Capital Area United Way; program director of the Michigan Nutrition Network at MSU Extension which transferred to the Michigan Fitness Foundation. In 2013 Paul become a consultant to the office of the president at Michigan State University where he served until his death.

A celebration of life will be organized in the spring. Contributions can be made in Paul's honor to REACH Studio Art Center, www.reachstudioart.org/donate or to REACH Studio Art Center, in memory of Paul McConaughy, 1804 S. Washington Avenue, Lansing MI 48910.
