Mr. Bob was a sweet friend and I miss him and Mrs. Jean very much. Love and prayers for your sweet family. The nursing home hasn't been the same without them.

To the family of Chief Bob: The community has lost a treasre. Bob loved Centerville, and to him it was like extended family. The best word to describe Bob was faithful. Faithful to his family, to his community, and in his service to God. Bob was willing to be helpful when and where ever e was needed. he was born to serve and he did that in many capacities. He was a dedicated fire chief before there were modern conveniences, like cell phones and 911 service. He was a great story teller and loved reminiscening about the good old days. He was a good friend, fair, loyal and kind. he was a man of integrity. He made us all better people for just knowing him. We know how very much Bob will be missed by his family, but also know he left them with a lifetime of his love and knowledge and they will carry on his legacy of love. We will keep you all in our prayers in th days ahead. In love and friendship, Cheryl and Randall Wright.
