Larry Karg Obituary

MCCUTCHENVILLE - Larry F. Karg, age 67, died November 28, 2008 at home. Larry was born December 29, 1940 to the late Robert H. and Irene E. (Barth) Karg. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.
On September 2, 1961 he married Gladys Davison and later divorced. Then on April 18, 1998, he married Jody Lynn Weininger.
Survivors include his children, Nicole Ann (Lee) Blair of Moral, OH, Elizabeth (Dennis) Dumbaugh of Mount Gilead, Kimberly (Jack) Gray of Muskogee, OK; four step children; ten grandchildren; four step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Kay) Karg of McCutchensville, John (Beverly) Karg of Lexington, Dale (Joyce) Karg of Upper Sandusky; sister, Rita Hossler of Tiffin. Larry was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Lynn Karg.
Larry worked at Shaw Environmental & Infrasture in Findlay for 8 years, he worked as an instructor for GTE in Marion for 24 years.
He attended Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville. He was a member and past district Commander of Amvets Post #27 in Bucyrus, former member of Upper Sandusky VFW, former member of Findlay Moose Lodge.
He was inducted as a gold member as 191st Family of Pioneer First Families of Wyandot County. He had the Double Toe Dance Studio in Upper Sandusky for 21yrs, also formerly owned Dancin Country Junction in Carey, OH. Also formerly owned Family Dance Center in Findlay.
He loved his horses, the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns & Ohio State Football and Basketball.
Services will be 11AM Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Trinity United Church of Christ. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2008 from 2-8PM at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Wyandot County, Trinity United Church of Christ.
Body will lie in state at church Tuesday from 10-11am. Sycamore American Legion Post #250 will have a military graveside service.
