Robert Frederick Pinter, 83 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on August 6, 2015. Bob is survived by his wife Nancy (Seiler) Pinter. Bob & Nancy met as seniors at Liberty High School and were both graduates of the class of 1950, and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He was born in Bethlehem, the youngest son of Frank & Julia (Unger) Pinter. Bob graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School & was proud to be an oarsman on the senior crew. He once had the privilege of receiving a team trophy from actress Grace Kelly who later became the Princess of Monaco. He was always active in sports, enjoying hunting, fishing, bowling, golf & skiing. He was a charter member & one of the founders of the Tannenbaum Ski Club of Bethlehem. Tannenbaum held a very special place in his heart and those friendships became as close as members of the family. He had very special memories of his time at the "bungalow" in the Poconos. He was a truly gentle man whose family meant everything to him. Bob was the former proprietor of Pinter's Hotel and worked for some time as a food service manager for MW Wood Co. at Lehigh, Lafayette & Cedar Crest Colleges. In 1984 he and his son Francis started American Printing in Easton. Fran successfully runs the business today. SURVIVORS: His wife Nancy, sons Robert, his wife Jean of Long Island, NY and Francis, his wife Lisa of Bethlehem, daughter Julie, her husband Jeff of Sandy, Utah, grandchildren Frank, Bob, Jaimie, Justin, Jenna, Sara, Katie Julia and Eric, two great granddaughters Jayda and Rosie. Predeceased by a sister Valerie and a brother Francis who served with distinction and many honors in WW II. SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 10AM in Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem. There will be a visitation on Tuesday August 11, 2015 from 7 to 9 PM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street in Bethlehem. Burial will follow the Mass in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia or a charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I remember so many good times working with him as an employee and later as a customer. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was so proud of every member of his family. He will be missed. May your memories give you comfort.

Dear Nancy and Family,
We were so saddened to hear about Bob. He will be sorely missed. My favorite partner for card playing! We share only a portion of your grief, especially Allen, who worked under his supervision, along with Fran, of course. We cannot imagine how it is to loose your high school beau and life mate of over 60 years! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you, especially after the family leaves and you may still need a shoulder to cry on, for instance.
