Uncle Bill, when you got to heaven, I hope you saw our Mother, Ann,there. She loved you very much. Give her and Nanny and Pap and all of your brothers and sisters who rest with Jesus a great big kiss for us. We will miss your quiet strength and sharp wit.

Uncle Bill was a special person in my life. What he said to me when my mom (his odlest sister) died will stay with me forever and helped to bring peace to me in my time of distress. When we went to his memorial, I thought "I've never been to this cemetery without Uncle Bill" and then realized that, even that day, he was there with us all.

My memories of Uncle Bill was a long time ago at Pap Pap and Nanny's house. When Uncle Bill come over it was alway special for my Mom (Kay), and Nanny. The kitchen table talk would stop once Uncle Bill stepped into the kitchen.

I did not get to know Uncle Bill as my life took me to Michigan. Always heard the family news, and chrismas cards.

One day a cowork/friend of mine, went to an environmenal meeting in NY, He meet Uncle Bill at that meeting. It was nice that Uncle Bill asked if he knew me, what are the chance of this.

As the branchs of the tree of life break off, new shoots emerge, so goes life.

May Uncle Bill find that God is an Irishman.

Love

I worked with Bill during his years in Auburn and he was a tough but fair manager. He had a sense of humor that many never had an opportunity to see and I was fortunate enough to enjoy it. My husband and I express our sympathy to his family and will keep you in our prayers.

Bill was my step-granfather and I loved him dearly. He was such a good, strong man, always there with advice and help if I needed it. He would never candy coat anything and I knew I could always lean on him. Although we were not his biological grandkids, he treated us like we were. To me he was very much my real grandfather. I will miss him greatly but know he is in a better place with no pain and endless happiness and I look forward to seeing him again. :)

My biological grandfather passed away when I was 3. I grew up with Bill as my grandfather when he married my grandmother Josephine. I have such fond memories of him. He was always very stern with his advice, and always there with an ear to listen when I had something to run by him. It is beyond sad to know that he has passed, but I try to find some comfort in the idea that he's with my grandma and my other loved ones that have also passed. Out of site, but never ever out of mind. Love you always Bill !!!!!!

Dear Patty,
At this sad time, I hope you can take comfort in the great relationship you shared with your Dad and how well you and Frank looked after him in recent years...when he needed you most. His obituary along with these entries describe a remarkable man. I can see his good looks and leadership traits in you.

MY great-uncle Bill was such a great guy. Sweet in that Lynch way, and I will miss him.
Wish I knew you better, Uncle Bill, but I am grateful for knowing you as I did, and will always cherish the time we sat around your warm living room a few years ago looking through old family photos, hearing stories, and learning about my unknown family who have gone before.
With love--

We've lost an honorable, generous, smart, straight-talking, funny, handsome, loyal, discerning man. I'm glad he doesn't have to fight for breath anymore; that he doesn't have such pain in his neck; that he doesn't have to struggle so to stay with us. I'm so sad for the ones who are left without him. . I'll miss him always.
