Henry S. Kurlansik

Kurlansik, Henry S.Henry S. Kurlansik, 74, of Boca Raton, FL., and Allentown, died Feb. 22nd, 2015 in Florida. He was the husband of Nancy (Goldman) Kurlansik. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Monroe and Hanna Lee (Siegel) Kurlansik. He was a graduate of Cornell University receiving a degree in Engineering Physics and a Master's in Business Administration. He attended University of Pennsylvania where he received a master's degree in Solid State Electronics and completed all the work for his PhD in Physics. Henry was initially employed at David Sarnoff Research Laboratories, Princeton, N.J. and subsequently returned to Allentown to run and develop Army Navy stores in Allentown and Whitehall. He was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown. Survivors: wife, Nancy; son, David Kurlansik and his wife Jordan and their children Hildi and Evelyn; daughter, Lauren wife of Atty. Michael Shepard and their children Marisa and Julia; sister, Mary wife of Dean Sloane. Services: 11AM Friday, Feb. 27th, 2015 at Congregation Keneseth Israel, 2227 W. Chew Street, Allentown, PA 18104. Burial will follow at Keneseth Israel Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements entrusted to Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown.
