You were my best friend in the Marine Corp as one of the Carlson's Raiders. We were in the same Company and in the same tent. Just found how to use the internet. Now, I find you. Just wished I new about this technology sooner. I am 96 this year going to the Raider Reunion. Not many of us left. I have some pictures of you in the South Pacific that your family may want. Looks like we went on to live rich full lives. Lte Stewart became a Dentist in Ohio, I went to work for General Motors in Detroit and You went back to Ohio. We were all so close but so far away. We were truly a Band of Brothers. Semper Fi Friend.

Dear Mary Kathryn and Family,

I'm sending my deepest sympathies and prayers to you and your extended family.

I remember when visiting Uncle and Aunt Mary, how we would take walks in the woods near their home, and during those walks, I learned a lot from his "philosophical talks"!

I know I will miss him greatly and "May he Rest in Peace with Aunt Mary".

With Much Love,
Brenda Krenn-Kuchera

I never met Pete in person, only through his son-in-law, whom I admire a great deal. Pete, through Anton's stories was not only a hero to this nation, but just as importantly (if not more) to his family. I am honored to have heard about Pete as a veteran, father and grandfather. Blessings
