John Radio Obituary
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, of nearly 50 years along with his Mother, Mary; Sons: Matthew and wife Kristy, Mark and wife Nicole, and Tim and wife Naomi; 10 adoring grandchildren: Jack, Eli, Noah, J.D., Max, Luke, Lucy, Ryan, Emma, and Maggie; and his brother Gregory and wife Rosalie. Jay will be dearly missed by countless friends throughout the community.
Services: The family will welcome visitors starting at 9 AM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA. The memorial service at the funeral home will begin at 11 AM and the interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Fullerton.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to East Side Youth Center to foster Jay's remarkable contributions to youth sports, 1140 E. Clair Street, Allentown, PA 18109 or Venmo @Kim-Fritchman-1.

My deepest sympathy to Nancy and the Radio family. Jay and I coached and our sons competed in the LV Youth League . We were also involved in the early days of boys AAU basketball in our area. Jay was not only a great coach but a terrific person. I always made a point of seeing him at summer b-ball tournaments and catching up on family and Penn State. He was the best and will be sorely missed.

Jay was a great guy who guided the youth basketball program at ESYC for many years. He was very kind. My three daughters (Alison, Adrien and Ashley) learned basketball and teamwork because of his youth programs. He will be missed and remembered by all of our family.

I grieve over the loss of one of the truly GOOD people I have known. Jay and I worked together on several business projects, starting in the mid-1070's. From those roots, a genuine friendship evolved over these many years and has continued. My thoughts and prayers are with all the Radio family in this most difficult time. To Jay's family
I was shocked when I heard the sad news.
My sister's and I have fond memories of Jay. From his showing off skills he learned in Boy Scouts, Riding to Jr high with my mom, or prepping the cars for his wedding day. Then there the Sundays on the side porch after church.
Always the kind of neighbor anyone wants!

What an amazing great individual along with his beautiful grandsons. Been his regular waitress at the golden gate diner every Saturday morning along with all his close pals. Jay you were a true gentleman in every sense of the word! Your calm demeanor was felt by everyone and your quick wit was second to none! It didn’t matter if you knew someone for 1 week or 50 years.... you treated everyone the way you would want to be treated.... with respect and dignity! I will always be grateful for our friendship, our class of 67 vs class of 68 golf matches and the valuable lessons I learned while having coached against you when I was at North Parkland.... you truly practiced what you preached!
