Richard J. Frey

Richard J. Frey, 80, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 12, 2026. He and his wife, Kathleen A. (Callisto) Frey, would have celebrated 43 years of marriage on May 28th. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Margaret A (Furst) Frey. He was a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1963 and was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Richard was a materials handler at PPL for about 35 years until he retired. He also was employed as a bartender at The Fairgrounds Hotel, The Main Gate and the former Roundtable, all of Allentown. Richard took great passion in his role as "PopPop" to his 4 grandchildren. He loved enjoying time outside with his dog and sharing a laugh with friends and family. Richard was also an avid Eagles fan.

Survivors: Wife; Sons, Jason Mouer and his wife, Elissa Levine, and Matthew Mouer and his wife, Kamini; Siblings, Robert, Dolores and Barbara; and Grandchildren, Ronnie, Layla, Sadie and Talia Mouer.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at the Fairgrounds Hotel. The family will be receiving family and friends between Noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Hotel. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Allentown, www.BKRFH.com
