Margaret Norton Obituary

Margaret A. Norton Born July 30, 1925 in Oakland, CA. Margaret found the Peace of the Lord she long desired early Sunday morning, May 25th. She was predeceased by son Charles and his wife Kathy. She was the loving wife of William "Bill" Jr., the esteemed mother of William "Bill" III and Ellen Gohmann, beloved grandmother of Anne, Dianne, Carl, William "Will" IV, Andrew and Jennifer, and great-grandmother of Tara, Tyler and Trisha. Margaret was a successful businesswoman, medical CEO, award winning editor, writer and artist. For many years she was active both in Scouts and her church. She was past president of the California Federation of Mineral Societies and the Santa Clara Gem & Mineral Society. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the SCG&MS Scholarship Fund or the scholarship fund of your choice. Memorial service will be held at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 5100 Camden Avenue, San Jose on Saturday, June 14th at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life to follow in Selbo Fellowship Hall.
