Brad Fuller Obituary
Nov. 5, 1953 - Jan. 2, 2016
Resident of San Jose
Brad was born in Indianapolis, IN. Originally trained as a jazz musician at Berklee College of Music and Indiana University-Bloomington, he joined Atari in 1982 as Director of Audio and was a pioneer in video game audio. While at Atari he spearheaded the use of FM synthesis and was the first to incorporate that technology in video games. He went on to earn an MS in Technology Management from Pepperdine University and in 2002, he co-founded Sonaural, LLC, continuing his work in the audio field. Most recently he taught courses at Cogswell Polytechnical College.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca and devoted sons Jeffrey Wiens and Kevin Wiens.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Saratoga Federated Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pancan.org (877) 272-6226) or to Saratoga Federated Church - Music Dept. in Brad's honor.
