On July 16th, beloved husband and father of three, Dan Levin, ended his seven-year battle with cancer. Throughout his life, Dan was passionate about helping others. Dan began his career as an EMT saving lives in Boston while earning an electrical engineering degree. He then transitioned to a career in technology project management, and often served as the keynote speaker at conferences with the Silicon Valley Project Management Professional Institute. He also volunteered his services consulting with adults in their career development, even after his health began to decline. In his personal life, Dan spent most of his time with his children, coaching them on the baseball field and getting lost on his snowboard in waist-high powder. Dan will be remembered for his incredible guidance as a husband and father, his caring friendship, and his lasting impact on anyone who needed advice. Dan is survived by his wife, Cynthia Levin, daughter, Ashley, son, Cole, and step-son, Garrett Izuno. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Dan Levin Memorial to support Cupertino Little League, the youth baseball organization where Dan coached his son. -- www.youcaring.com/DanLevinMemorial

Great person. Coached against Dan in little league and when I got hurt, only Dan reached across with his asst coach and helped me with my team. We spent many hours working hard and having a laugh with the players. Thank you Dan for making me a better person.

Sad to hears of this news. Dan was our next door neighbor for the past 5 years. A wonderful person, we were always so appreciative of how friendly Dan was to us and our children. He will be remembered for his outgoing, friendly nature. I enjoyed our many conversations on the sidewalk over the years. He will be missed!

Dan lived just down the street on Hyde Ave. for several years and was very active in the Fairgrove Earthquake group as head of the First Aid section. A wonderful neighbor and friend. May he rest in peace after a hard fought battle with cancer.
