I remember John as always quick to offer a gentle smile and encouraging words. A kind and gentle soul, and such a talented artist and a great cook. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family .

Im so sad to hear of Johns passing. My heart goes out to you and your family. John was a pleasure to know... so much fun in high school, very thoughtful, a talented potter and just one of those people who would look you in the eye and truly listen. John was my classmate in East Hampton schools. He was a gregarious guy, always teasing us and telling jokes. I remember him as highly sensitive to others, a unique quality in one so young. I am sincerely sorry to read this news. I remember him well and fondly.
