Josh Kelley Obituary

JOSH KELLEY Josh Kelley, age 33, resident of Salisbury, passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on September 9, 2025. Joshua Joel Kelley was born on June 4, 1992, in Columbia, MO. He was the son of Brian Paul Kelley and Donnell Grosvenor (Kilgore). Josh graduated from Salisbury High School in 2011. After graduating, Josh attended MACC College and obtained his AA degree in general education. Shortly after obtaining his Associate's degree, Josh moved to Springfield, MO to further his education, earning his Bachelor's degree in construction management at Missouri State University in 2019. Josh was currently employed at Randolph County Foundations in Moberly, MO, as a cement mason for the past 4 years. Josh will be remembered by his carefree spirit and for always wearing his heart on his sleeve. He was a stranger to no one and would help anyone at the drop of a hat. His passion was fishing and taking his boat out on the water any chance he got. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He cherished his nieces and nephews and his cousin's kids, oftentimes taking them on fishing adventures and teaching them about life's finer things. He loved to travel and had friends everywhere he went. He had an infectious personality and lived life to its fullest. His smile and laugh were contagious, and he will be forever remembered by his heartfelt words, "love you, bye." Survivors include father, Brian (Dubray Tallman) Kelley; mother, Donnell Grosvenor (Kilgore); bonus dad, Joe Grosvenor; two siblings; Dillan (Lucy) Grosvenor and Erica (Austin Etheridge) DeWolfe; three stepsiblings, Tyler Tallman, Cheyenne Tallman, and Ivy Tallman; grandmother, Diane Nowicki, 13 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve Kelley of Salisbury and Shirley Woodard of Boonville. The family of Josh Kelley will host a Celebration of Life gathering from 1-3 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Pott's Park, 29663 State Highway 129, Salisbury, MO 65281. In the event of inclement weather, the gathering will be moved to the United Methodist Church at 318 S. Broadway, Salisbury, MO 65281. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Josh Kelley to help cover the cost of funeral and memorial expenses. Any excess donations will go towards the construction of a memorial park bench to be placed at D.C. Rogers Lake, where Josh spent most of his life fishing.
