Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Kansas & Missouri - Kansas City on Mar. 17, 2026.
Richard (Rick) Lee Adams passed away peacefully at home March 11, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Rick was born April 1, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert C. Adams and Jean C. (Griffin) Adams.

On December 20, 2014, Rick married the love of his life, Deneen Marie Hays. They cherished 12 years together.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Adams and Jean C. Adams.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Deneen, children Shannon Adams, Catrina (Catie) (Adams) Lewis, Jeffrey Adams, Kamber Yardley (Frank), and Lauren Sapp (Joe). He is also survived by his brother Wayne Adams (Cathy), and his sister Janet Snell (Bret), 3 nieces, and 11 grandchildren.
