Thomas Thomas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Kansas & Missouri - Kansas City on Mar. 12, 2026.
Thomas Neal Thomas of Kansas City, MO, passed away following a strongly fought battle with cancer on March 9th, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on April 21st, 1965, in Kansas City, to John and Anna Marie Thomas.

Tom graduated from Archbishop O'Hara High School and spent 26 years working for his family's stamp and sign company until transitioning to a 15 year career at the IRS. Tom lived a fulfilling life centered around his two twin daughters, Haley Rose and Anna Jane, and will be remembered for his witty jokes, unparalleled sports knowledge, resilience, optimism, simplistic preferences, and gentle nature.

He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Haley and Anna Thomas; step-daughter, Miranda Growney; sons-in-law, Miles Wiedel and Jovon Savage; ex-wife and her husband, Sara and Patrick Growney; devoted siblings and in-laws, Sandy and Mark Downing, John Thomas, Paul Thomas, Denise and Carl Vineyard, Julie and Nazio Anello, Nancy and Doug Zubenel, Steven Thomas, & Rich Thomas and Rebecca Ferrell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be longingly missed by his canine companion, Cordelia; and his many cherished friends who will always think of his soft smile and bright blue eyes.

Tom will be laid to rest with his late parents at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO and a celebration of Tom's life will be held at Encore at Uptown Theatre on March 16th, 2026 at 3:30 pm.
