Eldred Renee Patterson born in Vicksburg, MS on October 31, 1954 passed from death to life on May 9, 2018 in Plano, Texas. Renee was the daughter of the late James Brown, Mary Ruth & Richard Prince.
Renee graduated from Leflore County High School and furthered her education at Jackson State University majoring in Special Education. Her journey took her to Atlanta where she met and soon married the late Richard Gary Patterson Jr. Life brought them west settling in Modesto, California where they raised 4 sons. Renee worked and retired from Modesto Junior College and has a long history of community service in the city of Modesto and the surrounding valley. Rene was also a gospel artist who loved the lord, her family and friends. Renee had a passion for empowering women through education, mentoring and ministry. In her words "I live to serve others as the Lord leads me".

What a wonderful friend who God used in my life many many times....at some of my most difficult times. She walked me though them with the grace and love of God and was truly a blessing. I remember so many times she would sweep me up and take off for "somewhere". We would laugh and cry as the Lord brought healing to my heart through her ministry. She had a way of helping you know for sure that God was going to take care of things and faith would arise. She lived with such a strong faith that it was contagious. Thank you Rene for your stand for Christ and for all the love you shared with others. Until we see you again. Love you Sister!
