Dear Pam and Family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Paul's passing from this life! I learned of his passing because I was actually searching for him. I wanted him to make a special ring for my youngest daughter Caroline. He set some sapphires for her once before and we were so pleased with his artistry!
I am so very sad to learn if his passing! I know you must miss him terribly!
We got to know you both through Flora and because you were two shops ahead of us on McHenry Avenue. You were both kind to us and ovely people to know. Paul designed and made a very special Mother's ring for me utilizing my Grandma Fitzpatrick's engagement diamond plus the birthstones of my daughters. That ring, plus my wedding ring, survived a robbery so I always felt it was especially blessed! My husband and I were so happy with Paul's work! He always had a smile for us and I loved looking at all your cool designs when we walked by your shop window!
Please know of our love and prayers for you all. He was one of a kind and is truly missed!

I was only just getting to know Paul based on our shared love of lapidary and stone carving. He shared lots of stories of the interesting people he had met and wonderful thing he had made. He was kind to me and my heart goes out to his loved ones.

Paul was my brother. Though we took different paths in our lives, he had remarkable talents. I wish I had spoken to him before his passing; there was much we could have shared and resolved. I will always hold you in my heart, Paul. Be at peace.
To Pam, Athena, Kaden, and all his devoted family and friends, I mourn with you and pray you will find continuing strength in the memory of what a warm, kind person Paul really was.
