OSTROFF, MEL On Saturday, May 2, 2009. Beloved husband of Thelma Bloom. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Percy and Shelley (Appleby), Lynda Ostroff and Henry Anzarouth, and Debra Ostroff. Much loved Zaidie of Jenna; Rachael and Rebecca. Dear brother of Evelyn Bass and brother-in-law of Margie and Zackie Auerbach. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to Natalie and Gabrielle, and to nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, May 4 at 12 p.m. Burial at the Beth Israel Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
