Peggy Tuttle Obituary
Peggy Tuttle, 93, passed away on March 31, 2021 at Medicalodge South in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday April 3, 2021 at Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas with Rev. Bob Cuthbertson officiating. Graveside interment will immediately follow at Garden of Memories in Pittsburg, Kansas. Friends may call 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. Friday at the Bedene Chapel in Arma.
Peggy was born on July 24, 1927 in Elijah, Missouri. She was the fourth of six children born to Ira & Frona Sanders Brown, with brothers Elisha & John, & sisters Leta Hansford, Betty Ragland & Bobbie Jo Wallace, all deceased prior to Peggy.
In 1952 in Mountain Home Ark. she married Navy Veteran Gilbert (Gail) Tuttle of Kansas City, Kansas. Gail retired from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department in 1975 and Peggy retired from J.Hart Drafting in 1976 and the couple moved to Mulberry, Kansas. They were married for 43 years, until Gail's death in 1996.
Peggy was a member of the Mulberry Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star, serving as secretary to both.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the Mulberry Funeral Dinner Fund. Donations, cards, and flowers may be sent to the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
