Donna Tuttle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mathis Funeral Home - Cochran on Jan. 22, 2026.
Donna Tuttle, age 81, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Bryant Health & Rehabilitation in Cochran, Georgia. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Born and raised in Indiana, Donna was the daughter of the late Dale and Flossie Yaryan Springer. She spent the majority of her life in Indiana before relocating to Florida in her late 30s. Four years ago, she made her final move to Cochran, Georgia.

Donna dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant. She worked in nursing homes throughout Florida and also provided compassionate care through home health services. After retiring from her career in healthcare, she found joy in journaling, crafting, and crocheting-pastimes that brought her peace and fulfillment.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Monroe Tuttle.

Donna is lovingly remembered by her children: Gusty (Jimmy) Berry of Cochran; Shannon Tuttle of Indiana; and Sue (Tom) Melvin of Indiana. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Her memory is cherished by her siblings: Jerry Springer of Kentucky, Tim Springer of Indiana, and Judy McClure of Illinois; along with several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Donna's life and legacy, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21044 or online at www.abcf.org.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
