Melissa Lindsey Obituary
Melissa was born on October 20, 1972, in Oneonta, Alabama. She grew up in Oneonta and attended Appalachian High School. She later made her home in Cochran. She was a devoted mother to Mahalia Ryan, Tammy Brown (Chase), and Marc Lindsey (Anna), and a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Tibbs; and two siblings, Michael Lindsey and Thomas Tibbs Jr.
She is remembered by her father, Thomas Tibbs, and her siblings: Matthew Lindsey; Sharlene Lavoy (Richard); Wayne Lindsey; Michelle Weston (Jeff Howard); Misty Tibbs; Kristie Chacon; and Anthony Tibbs (Astrid). Melissa shared a loving partnership of 30 years with Danny Peace.
