Daniel Arnold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mathis Funeral Home - Cochran on Mar. 14, 2026.
Daniel Troy Arnold, age 42, of Cochran, Georgia, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Born in Dublin, Georgia, Daniel was a lifelong resident of Cochran. He worked as a truck driver for Quality Trans Trucking and found immense joy and fulfillment in his career behind the wheel. For Daniel, driving was more than just a job-it was a passion that brought him pride and satisfaction.

In his personal life, Daniel had a deep love for music and enjoyed shopping for items he cherished most-especially Air Jordan shoes. A devoted Alabama football fan through and through, Saturdays were often spent cheering on his favorite team with unwavering enthusiasm. Above all else, Daniel's greatest joy came from his family. He deeply treasured his role as a father to his beloved sons, Dash and Jaxx. He was a mama's boy to his mother Tia and his Granny Pat. He held dear memories of his granddaddy Earl, his grandaddy Terry and his grandmama Janice.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Troy Arnold; his grandfathers, Earl Arnold and Terry Daniel; and his grandmother, Janice Grantham Arnold.

He is survived by his sons, Dash and Jaxx; his mother, Tia (Russ) Garrett his granny, Pat Barlow; his two uncles, Tod Daniel and Keith Arnold (fiancée Anne Sawyer); his cousins, Tomas (Lara) Daniel and Matthew (Amber) Arnold ; his wife, Deborah Rayburn Arnold; his stepchildren, Andrew Diaz, Alex Diaz, and Ava Diaz; along with numerous special friends and extended family members who held him dear.

Daniel's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May it bring comfort to all who mourn this profound loss.

The family will be at 107 Violet Street in Cochran.
