Charles R. Tuttle, age 77, formerly of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.

Born October 4, 1948, in Richmond, Indiana, to Charles Brown Tuttle and Edna Hunt Tuttle, Charles lived in this community most of his life. He proudly served his country in the

U. S. Army. Charles was a machinist at DANA Corp. for over 30 years. After retiring, he delivered papers for the Palladium Item. Charles was a member of UAW, Richmond. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing cards. Charles loved spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling his dogs.

Survivors include his daughters, Traci (Mike) Tuttle and Lindsay (Bobby) Gierzak; son, Dustin Tuttle; grandchildren, Evan and Skylar Gierzak and Hadden Tuttle; sister, Diane Conklin; brother, Rocky Holliday; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Tuttle; parents; sister, Suzanne Hanson; stepmother, Daisy; and brother Russell Tuttle.

Visitation for Charles R. Tuttle will be from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Lawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio, with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
