Steven Michael Tuttle died on January 26, 2026, in a tragic car accident in Hudson Fl. Sadly, but really as it was meant to be, Steves most precious possessions Stella, his golden retriever and Sweetie, his chihuahua, also passed with Steve. Everywhere Steve went his dogs went with him including on that fateful day. It is only fitting their final journey was together.
Steve entered the world as a true Christmas baby on December 25, 1956. From toddler age on he was a joyous handful. During his youth he developed a love of sports that continued though his life, especially enjoying golf matches, which he played barefoot, with family members.
For much of his life Steve spent at least 9 months a year on the road moving families to their new homes across the nation as a moving van truck owner. Being a bit of a raconteur, Steve would regale friends and family with stories of his travels throughout the U.S.
Steve loved to discuss current events with strong views voiced on all subjects of note whether for or against it provided a lively discussion by all involved. It could not be stated with more emphasis that he was not a fan of the current administration and was proud to let all know.
Seven years ago, Steve returned to his beloved Florida to experience the warm sun and ocean breezes. Steve cruised the coastal Florida highways delivering meals to customers who invariably commented on his sunny disposition and friendly manner.
Steve was one who made some very precarious decisions during his life that provided some in-depth conversations with his dad, someone he truly admired. Steve finally told his dad, just wish me good luck. So, good luck Steve, and we know that wherever you are they "love your ass".
Steve was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth and father Clark Jr and brother Clark III. He is survived by brother Mark (Carol), and sisters Heidi (Kevin) and Kristi (Louis) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Steve’s good friend Roger for all he has done. Roger was a friend who really cared for Steve and what a blessing to have in life.
