Rebecca Billups

Piscataway - Rebecca Billups, 86, departed this life Tues. Sept. 11, 2018 in Oxford, NJ. Born in Sumter, SC, she resided in Baltimore, MD, moved to Plainfield, NJ in 1952 and lived there over 55 years before moving to Piscataway several years ago. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield since 1953 where she served on the Pastor's Aide Ministry. Mrs. Billups was formerly employed with Child Craft in Edison before retiring.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles Billups, Sr.; her son Charles Billups Jr., and daughter Dolores Billups.

Surviving are two sons Kenneth W. and Raymond Billups; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one sister Dorothy Mizell; two sisters in law Evelyn Billups and Janie Glencamp.

Funeral Tues. 11am in Calvary Baptist Church, 324 Monroe Ave., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 9am. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home. www.brownsfuneralhome.net.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the family. What a loving and caring person Mrs Billups was.I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Mrs.Billups.She will be missed by so many.
