REV. WILLIAM GIBSON LASTER
AGE: 68 NEW BRUNSWICK
Rev. William Gibson Laster, 68, of New Brunswick, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at St. Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Newark and lived in Newark most of his lifetime before moving to New Brunswick in 1994. He was a Driver for Partners Health Care, Cranford, NJ. Rev. Laster was an assistant minister at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Jersey City, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Hill Laster; two daughters, Lorrie Mayo of Roanoke, VA, Princess Mayo, and a son, Hanif Mayo; a grandson, De'Andre Wright.
Services on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at 11AM at Union Baptist Church, 76 Washington Ave., South River. Viewing on Friday from 7-9pm at the church and Saturday, 9-11am at the church. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his children c/o Angela Laster, 29 Loretto St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
