Gary Wayne Laster

Gary Wayne Laster of Marked Tree passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 73. He was born on July 3, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Thomas and Annie Louise Qualls Laster. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Laster, three brothers Dwight Laster, Bobby Laster and Carl Laster Sr. and one sister Deborah Stafford. Gary is survived by one son Thomas Wayne Laster Sr. of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one daughter Lucy Carroll of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one brother Larry Laster of Vardaman, Mississippi, five grandchildren T.J. (Katelyn), Dustin (Morgan), Zachary, Madison and Allison (C.J.), four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, 2026, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas.
