WILLIAM "BILL" GRAP
AGE: 84 AUBURN
Mr. William "Bill" Grap, age 84, of Auburn, GA passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Janine Grap. He is survived by his daughter, Miriam Grap, Woodbridge, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Joann Grap, Bethlehem, PA, John Grap, Milwaukee, WI and Jeff and Suzanne Grap, Auburn, GA; seven grandchildren, Kevin McCann, Stephen Grap, Alex Grap, Hallie Grap, Rachel Grap, Courtney Grap, Drew Grap; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Grap was born January 31, 1926 in Dunellen, NJ. He was a 1944 graduate of Dunellen High School in Dunellen, NJ. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a retired composing manager from Courier News in Bridgewater, NJ after thirty-nine years of service and he also worked for Disney World Pro Shop for ten years after he retired. He was a member of the American Legion for twenty-three years and a member of the V. F. W. Post and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Grap was a member of Prince Of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince Of Peace Catholic Church with Father Patrick serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery in Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
