Jack Ehrlich Obituary

LITTLE RIVER | Jack Ehrlich, 73, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Seacoast Medical Center.



He was born on April 6, 1930 in Berlin, Germany, a son of the late Walter Frederick and Henrietta Fletch Ehrlich.



He served in the U.S. Air Force as an officer during the Korean Conflict. He was the Bureau Chief for the District Attorney's Office in Suffolk County, N.Y., and was the author of 14 published books.



Survivors include his wife, Karen Ann Carr Ehrlich of Little River; a son, Timothy Walter Ehrlich of Brandon, Fla.; a daughter, Lisa Frances Gaffney of White River Junction, Vt.; two stepsons, John Joseph Langlet and Scott Paul Langlet, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; a stepdaughter, Christine Ann Francois of Marietta, Ga.; and ten grandchildren.



The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, North Myrtle Beach. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Father Wilmet Merchant will officiate.
