Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Dana's passing. We worked together at the U.S. Dept of Justice and I am saddened at the loss of one of the finest men I ever knew. Rest in peace, Dana. You were respected by all who knew you.

Dana´s family, Two and a half years after his passing, I am devastated to discover our country has lost a true patriot, a great man, and a very loyal friend. Dana and I were very close friends during our years at ASU College of Law. We lost contact over the years after exchanging Christmas cards every year until shortly after he lost Rusty. Our daughter is currently a plebe at the Naval Academy and my wife and I are moving to Annapolis in the Spring. I knew Dana had retired and was likely...

To Dana’s family......in the early part of 1970 Dana....Lt.Biehl arrived in Vietnam.....he was assigned to the 1st Calvary 1/9th DELTA TROOP.....as our new forward observer....we were a keep patrol unit....I was his driver and shared being his Radio operator with another soldier.....we called artillery strikes in support of our ground troops.....He was instantly liked and respected......2 things that weren’t always quick in coming for a “new” guy......I read in another post on here he was...

Dana and I first met our freshman year in college. We were fraternity brother and roommates, and essentially neighbors in N. Va until 2002. I always looked up to Dana because he seemed to be a human on a higher plain than the rest of us. It is difficult to believe he is gone because I always thought him to be invincible. My heart is broken that he is gone. Such a good man.

I had the great privilege to work with Dana over a number of years and he was a big hearted colleague and friend. He had the ability just by walking into a room to lighten things up, even at the most difficult of times, with his cheerful optimism and positivity. But he also had a very real ability to get things done and to motivate others. He was a great team player. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family, Norman McFadyen.

What a great man, and what a great family. Thank you for sharing the photo to remind us all of Dana's big smile.

We fondly recall Dana's generous and unstinting support of our endeavours at the Scottish Court in the Netherlands twenty years ago. We are grateful to him, not only for his insightful professional input, but also for the warmth and kindness of his friendship in what were demanding times for us, away from our homes and families. We had the privilege of working with Dana over 20 years ago. We have never forgotten his larger than life personality and his many small acts of kindness to us a gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP Dana. Gioia, Mylene and Sharon

He was an amazing uncle, he always knew how to make people laugh. And cheat while playing family games such as Shanghai the card game. I miss also when we were all in Hawaii he lived to play Marco polo in the pools or in the ocean. Going to miss you Dana. We love you. R.i.p uncle Dana. Please if you see aunt Janet tell her I love her very much.
