Not sure what to say?

My name is Dean Davis. I am one of the many young men who was fortunate enough to encounter Mr. Counts or Keith as a teacher at Adams City High School. Except for my parents he was without a doubt the most profound individual influence in my life.
I encountered Keith as a bright yet socially inept young man of 17. He saw my potential and personally embarked on a mission to encourage my personal and professional growth. During my senior year I was planning to attend Colorado School...

It doesn't seem that long ago that we were taking Physics from Keith and English from Mary in classes at Adams City High School.
Keith was a nut as a Physics instructor (as most of our teachers) and we all loved him for that. He made Physics fun.
In his obituary, Keith and Mary had a fun, full and great life together and I know that Mary and all his friends will miss him.
I am not saying goodbye to him, but "Happy Trails to you until we meet again" (Roy Rodgers).
Thanks Mr....

At Adams City High School in fall of 1963, the seniors of class of 64 and some of us underclassmen too who were involved in boy scouts doing river rafting and also in a lacrosse club recruited young Mr. Counts into forming a new Adams City Lacrosse Club, then to volunteer to be the advisor for the boy scout organization we were in - Explorer Post 102. So we got him hooked on river rafting. The rest, as they say, is history. He way exceeded all our expectations!!!

Keith was a mentor, a friend, and a wonderful human being. It was a privilege to know him.

Thank you Mr Counts for being a great teacher at Adams City High School (Class of 1964), mentor and friend. You will be missed ... R.I.P. Mr C ❤ Deepest sympathies and prayers to Mary Counts and family.

So sorry for the loss of such a great person. I will never forget.....

I'am so sorry for your loss. Keith had such a great influence on my life by introducing me to White water rafting and guiding. He will always have a special place in my heart. It was a privilege to have known him.
