Susie and The Richard Family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy upon the passing of your loved one Charlie. I remember Charlie as a little boy when you family lived in town behind the old bank and close to the train depot. Susie and Helen was close in age to me and we used to play out on the street. I always thought of Charlie as Susie's baby brother, he was so cute and little. Also, whenever I think of the Firemen's carnivals here in Mt. Jackson, the entire Richard family is always...

Hello Charles,
When you spoke everyone always listened. As a little girl, I remember sitting at your house, at Grandma Lizzie's and at Aunt Ruth & Uncle Charlie's listening to you tell joke after joke and story after story without any interruption. You were so proud of your talent, as you should have been, and I remember riding with you and your drums were always in tow. I always enjoyed listening to you play those drums and watch you play a beat on whatever available surface. You...

charles I know you know how much you meant to me and how much I loved you as your family did. I know you will be missed so much by Mary,Holly,Bo and Maj.and all the people's lives you touched while your short time here on earth we do not understand a lot of things I believe most of all death.I know we are to except the things that god has put into order and not question why things are as they are but our first response is why? It's funny when god allowed his sun to die for us we never ask...

Uncle Charles, I just want to let you know that I will always love you. You were the greatest uncle a person could have. I will never forget the time I rode with you, Holly, and Mary to Chicago. At that time, I thought it was the worst 14 hours of my life. Gosh, that was a long ride. Now when I look back on that trip we took, I really think that trip brought us closer together. I remember you calling me to get all the details about my wedding, you were coming and it didn't matter how...

It has been a long time since I saw you "Chaz" but I always thought about you. Back then you were like a big brother, letting me borrow your drums, hunting with you, Gary and PyeYoe. (In your blue Ford van!) You were always tapping your fingers to a song, I still have that habit today, and my son does it too! You were an awesome drummer but more importantly a great guy. And the most important thing, I know I will see you again in Heaven. My prayers go out to all the Richard family.
